I will tell you that she is a woman, a mother, a wife, a daughter, etc.... She is all of that ...and so much more! She is by far the most extraordinary person I have ever met in my life. She has more strength, courage, tenderness, vitality, and life than any three people I know. Nilsa will tell you that she has Lupus and has always aspired to becoming a writer. Still true, she won't tell you that she lives each and every day in pain - physical and mental. That she has to write everything down lest it be forgotten due to memory loss and memory retention issues. In part due to Lupus and partially to side effects from the myriad of medications she must take daily (over 20 pills a day plus a monthly 1 1/2 hour infusion).Yet, despite this and so many other valid reasons the hand it has dealt her -she lives each day with a positive attitude constantly looking for the best in everyone in every circumstance.
She has a pure joy for life that is seldom ever seen and she is by far the most humble person you can ever meet. Education played a big part in Nilsa's life. She has earned an Associates degree, two Bachelors degrees, and she also earned her Masters degree in Business Management with core classes in international management Administration. This education and her broad depth of jobs and careers have truly mad her a Jack of all Trades and a Mast of Many! I can tell you that this remarkable woman is my best friend, my confidant, my lover, and my wife.
